Énorme coup de coeur pour ce roman. 🩷

Un roman qui a fait que je n’avais pas envie de le terminer, pas envie de quitter les personnages, et surtout aucune envie de lire autre chose pendant plus d’un mois, parce que je l’avais encore en tête.

J’ai tout adoré ! Le small town, le florilège de personnages secondaires hyper attachants, le found family.

La plume est géniale, l’humour juste dosé et parfait.

La sincérité et l’authenticité du récit venaient encadrer le tout.

Lucy Score est désormais une autrice dont je vais acheter les romans les yeux fermés 😍

I absolutely loved this novel.

It was the sort of book that made me not want to finish it, not want to leave the characters behind, and, above all, not want to read anything else for over a month, because it was still on my mind.

I loved every bit of it! The small town, the array of utterly endearing supporting characters, the ‘found family’.

The writing is brilliant, with just the right touch of humour – it’s perfect.

The sincerity and authenticity of the story tied it all together.

Lucy Score is now an author whose novels I’ll buy without a second thought.
